WY-150 ASCII/ANSI/PC Display Terminal (obs. Replaced by the WY-150e) The WY-150 is a multi-personality dis- play terminal designed to work with the widest range of computers and appli- cations. Its unparalleled ergonomics and broad repertoire of industry stan- dard personalities make the WY-150 a breakthrough in display terminal design. SURPASSING THE STANDARDS FOR MULTI-PERSONALITY PERFORMANCE Unlike traditional, host-specific termi- nals, the WY-150 is designed to work within an extensive range of computer environments. Terminal personalities are selectable with just a few keystrokes. ASCII and ANSI personalities (such as WY-50 and VT-100) are provided for traditional mini- and mainframe computing environments. The WY- 150 is also ideal for today's super multi-user microcomputers utilizing 80386 and 68030 processors. And with both ANSI and PC terminal modes resident in the terminal, the WY-150 runs PC-based software con- currently with other multi-user, multi-tasking operating systems. Connecting the WY- 150 to virtually any computer system is fast and easy. ERGONOMICS FOR EASE OF USE AND UNMATCHED DISPLAY INTEGRATION The WY-150 delivers state-of-the-art display integration with three display modes. Users may select the Positive mode for black characters on a true paper-white background, the Negative mode for light characters on a black background, or the Neutral mode for light characters on a gray background. Wyse uses a high-quality, extra-fast 78 Hz refresh rate to virtually eliminate screen flicker for less eye strain and improved productivity. With borderless, full-screen video and color-coordinated screen bezel, the WY-150 enhances information on the screen while providing the most comfortable view possible.
